Grade 1 & 2 Basketball

The objective of this program is to develop young athletes through age appropriate skill development while creating a passion for the sport. Most importantly, we want participants in this program to have a fun introduction to basketball!

*Due to limitations on gym time the East end practices will be on Sunday afternoons at Arcola School*

Cost:  $195 for the season

Registration Opens: August 1, 2023
Registration Closes: October 15, 2023
Program Start Date: November 4, 2023
Final Program Date: February 10, 2024
(There will be no practice/games during the Christmas School break: Dec 10 - Jan 7)
 

Team Selection
Players should register in the "Zone" they currently live in - the RCBA uses their school information to create teams. If you have a player request, please email it to rcba@sasktel.net

Schedule
Teams will have a weekly practice/game on Saturdays between 10:00am - 3:00pm - practice times will change from week to week. Practice facilities within each zone will remain the same for the entire season pending gym cancellations. East end players will practice Sundays between 1:30 and 6:00 pm

Equipment
As a participant in the RCBA program, all players will receive the following:
- T-shirt
- Basketball

What is Needed for the Season
- Non marking runners
- Athletic clothing
- Water bottle

Coaching
Coaches are always needed in the RCBA! If you are interested in coaching (no experience necessary) the RCBA will provide tools to assist new coaches.
