When players register they indicate which zone they currently reside in as well as which school they attend. They will also indicate which nights they are unavailable to practice. When drafting teams we take all these factors into account though due to availability of practice facilities your team might be practicing at a facility outside of your zone.
Team practices will be held at the same time in the same facility each week for 1 hour. While every effort is made to keep a teams practice facility within their zone, due to a limitation of facilities available that is not always possible. Teams will play weekly on Saturdays for 1 1/4 hours between 9:00am-3:00pm. Times can change from week to week. Game schedules are based on playing against teams from within zones and outside of zones. Game gyms will reflect that schedule.
The following is provided to the player at the beginning of the season:
Team jersey (must be returned at conclusion of program)
What is Needed for the Season:
Non marking runners, shorts and a water bottle.
Coaches are always needed for teams. If you are interested in coaching your child's team (no experience necessary) the RCBA will provide training and tools to help new coaches. For more information on coaching in the RCBA please visit our Coaches Area.
